10 years for a new furnace and AC as long as it is registered. A reputable Contractor will do that for you. Otherwise it’s a five year warranty on the parts. We give 2 years for the labor. Standard labor warranty is one year.

How do I know if I need a new heater or air conditioner?

How often should I check my air filter?

Same as above if you have a washable filter. Electronic air cleaners have four items to wash and clean. That’s one of the reasons they are pretty much obsolete.

What is the proper indoor humidity level?

Proper humidity is 35-40% RH.

Why do I need a humidifier?

A humidifier allows you to breathe better.It also will save money on your energy bill because it feels warmer with humidity in the air allowing you to lower your temperature and still feel comfortable. If you have wooden fioors it is a must to save your floors from cracking and Splitting.

Should I have my air ducts cleaned?

Yes you should. Especially if you have allergies or respiratory problems. You should have a High Efficiency air cleaner installed on your furnace too. In a typical ranch house, over fifty pounds of dirt is taken out of the duct work.
